Angive also referred as the Thai eggplant can have various shapes; it can be elongated, cylindrical shape to a small globular shape around 2-3 centimeters in diameters. The outer skin is smooth and glossy and can range from dark green, light green, to white. There are vivid green hues, which begin at the stem of the vegetable and then fade to a creamy white in a striping pattern. The inner flesh is pale green to white and contains small, brown, edible seeds. The Angive / Thai eggplant is crunchy and mild with a slightly bitter taste.
