Prohibition on the importation of raw or fresh dates

The importation of raw and fresh dates is banned. This was declared by The Ministry of Agro-industry and Food Security in a press release. A health certificate must be submitted containing details about the country of origin for the importation of the dried or treated dates. This protocol was implemented to prevent any infection as mentioned by the Ministry. It will be considered as a wrongdoing blameworthy by the law if anyone has not the health certificate while doing importation of the dried or treaded dates.
