The sugar campaign for the year 2021 has been completed by Omnicane and Alteo. More than 94,000 tonnes of sugar have been produced by Omnicane. Meanwhile Alteo has planned the production of 77 thousand tons of special sugar and 98 thousand tons of sugar. However it is a less satisfactory production for both groups. The Chamber of Agriculture expects a total production of 270 thousand tons of sugar and the sugar campaign will end on December 30.
