Sailesh Chunen was appointed as the new President of the Mauritius Chamber of Agriculture.

At 50 years old, Sailesh Chunen the manager at Compagnie Sucrière de St Antoine Limited was re-elected as President during the general meeting of the Chamber of Agriculture on Thursday, 2 September 2021. The first and second vice-presidents are Jerôme Jaen and Arnaud d’Unienville respectively. In a press release on Friday, 3 September the Chamber of Agriculture also revealed the names of the members; Sébastien Mamet, Ishwurchandra Hurpaul, Didier Charoux and Olivier Baissac.
