Protection of fruit trees: 75% subsidy on the cost of purchasing nets

Protection of fruit trees is a must since we are in the fruit season and the Ministry of Agriculture has launched a financial support plan. Its aim is to help individuals with the purchase of protective nets for fruit trees. The protective nets will protect the fruits against the attacks of birds and bats. Both fruit producers and individuals are entitled to a 75% subsidy to cover the cost of purchasing nets to cover their fruit trees. 

The deadline for submitting applications was set for October 8, 2021. Only individuals who have not benefited from this grant plan in the last 2 years will be considered for this financial support. This aid scheme has a budget of Rs 10 million. More than 1,500 people benefit annually from this financial support by purchasing safety nets.
