Other Promising Potato Varieties Currently at Performance Evaluation stage
The FAREI’s potato research agenda prioritizes breeding programs, which are reinforced by the introduction and evaluation of elite germplasm. This was done to be able to choose varieties that are potentially adapted to local conditions.
Newly introduce potato varieties currently under evaluation are everest, sababah and santana.
