Baker: 9 months of training for young people by Les Moulins de la Concorde
To encourage young Mauritians to take up the the profession of baker.
Thus helps in decreasing the lack of local labor in the country.
It is in this sense that Les Moulins de la Concorde is once again offering a diploma course in bakery.
This is a theoretical and practical training spread over 9 months. Since the launch of this program in 2018, 24 people have taken this bakery training. 75% of them currently work in supermarkets, hotels or on their own.
According to Les Moulins de la Concorde, there are 210 bakeries in Mauritius and 75% of their employees are foreign workers. This is why the flour producer and distributor invites those interested in this profession to become professional through this training.
