Backyard Gardening Scheme: 117 families grow their own vegetables

The Backyard Gardening Scheme is paying off. 117 families have been growing their own vegetables since 2020. This financing plan was set up by the DBM to help families create vegetable gardens in their backyards. The loan was 25 thousand rupees and increased to 100 thousand in the last budget. To date, the DBM has disbursed 3.5 million rupees.
